- The course description in appears in the language in which the course is given
- The four digit code represents :
- First digit: year of study or level
- Second digit: language and course value
English: | one session: 1,3 |
French: | one session: 5,7 |
| two sessions: 2,4 |
| two sessions: 6,8 |
Bilingual: | one session: 9 | | |
| two sessions: 0 | | |
- English and French are used in the teaching of the course. Students can use the language of their choice, but they must at least understand the other one orally and in writing (passive knowledge). These digits do not identify courses taught in rotation (one year in one language, the other year in the other language).
- language courses other than English and French
- individualized teaching in courses where no lectures are given.
- The last two digits are assigned by the faculties
- The first digit in brackets indicates the hours of instruction per week for lectures, seminars or theory and laboratory; the second digit indicates the hours of instruction per week for group discussions or tutorials; the third digit indicates the hours of instruction per week for laboratories. A small letter b after a digit indicates that the activity occurs every two weeks
- Each course carries a certain number of credits representing the duration of the academic activity. In a lecture course one credit stands for one hour per week during one session; in a laboratory course, one credit stands for two hours per week in one session.
NOTE : The faculty reserves the right to alter or cancel programs or courses without notice.
