Statistics Canada is conducting a new Survey on the Official Language Minority Populationto better understand the needs of the communities making up this group in Canada. Since mid-May, 59,000 Canadians have been randomly selected to take part in the survey. Data collected will be used to develop community services such as:
- schools and daycare services
- health care and government services
- cultural projects
