Perez Hall

Building Information

Pérez Hall, named for its largest private contributor, was inaugurated in the summer of 1988. It houses the university’s Department of Music, which for many years was sorely in need of space. The building, linked by an elevated pedestrian walkway to Morisset Hall, has its own music library, practice rooms, auditorium and underground parking garage. It is home to the Piano Pedagogy Research Laboratory, a state-of-the-art facility that makes it possible to measure specific visual or auditory phenomena involved in the complex activity of learning to play the piano.
