Pride Centre of the Students Union of the University of Ottawa

The University of Ottawa Pride Centre is a part of the Sexual Health and Wellness services that are provided by the University of Ottawa Students’ Union. We are committed to providing a welcoming, safe, unbiased, and comfortable space for anyone who identifies as a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies.

Centre for Psychological Services and Research (CPSR)

The CRSP is a training unit of the School of Psychology. It provides, among other things, psychological services to people from the Ottawa-Gatineau area, including individual therapy, couple therapy and family therapy.

Feminist Resource Centre of the Students Union of the University of Ottawa

The FRC is an inclusive, non-judgmental, pro-choice, feminist drop-in space that supports community members (women, trans folk, non-binary folk and men) who want to work together to challenge gender oppression on campus and in our communities.

Student Rights Centre of the Students Union of the University of Ottawa

The Student Rights Centre offers guidance and support to students who require information on University of Ottawa regulations and practices or who wish to appeal decisions made by the university administration. We also help students who wish to receive more information regarding their human rights on campus or who want to file a formal or informal complaint in that regard.

The Centre for Students with Disabilities (CSD) of the Students Union of the University of Ottawa offers events, services and campaigns throughout the year focused on disability and accessibility. The CSD has an active listening service and provides a drop-in space to receive support or get consultations.

The Student Support Team offers non-clinical case management services to students with complex needs at the University of Ottawa. The team provide students with a holistic approach to managing their complex academic, medical, or personal needs.

Employee and Family Assistance Program

The Employee and Family Assistance Program helps University staff and their family to resolve various problems or difficulties affecting their work, health and personal life. It offers, among other things, a psychological consultation service. The services it provides are confidential.

Human Resources

The vision of the University’s Human Resources department is to ensure the best work experience possible. Its Health and Wellness Sector offers, among other things, resources for staff members who are experiencing work-related problems.

Academic Accommodations Service

The Academic Accommodations Service is responsible for assessing, establishing and implementing academic accommodations for students who have a disability, with respect and reliability, while adhering to the various regulations and laws.

Student Health and Wellness Centre

The centre is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, health promotion specialist psychotherapists, a psychologist and psychiatrists working together in a shared care model.

Psychotherapy and Mental Health

The counselling team is now located in the NEW Student Health and Wellness Centre at Minto Sports Complex - 801 King Edward, 2nd floor, room N203.

Counselling services are offered in person and online.

Protection agents

Protection Services

Protection Services can help you if you want to report an incident or if you want to talk to someone. It can write a report, but it will respect your decision if you would rather not pursue the matter.

Housing and Residence Life

Housing and Residence Life offers, among other things, an in-house confidential counselling service in a secure and accessible environment to students. It can also, depending on the circumstances, allow accommodations (room or residence change, etc.).
