Our program consists of the development and implementation of fire prevention processes and procedures, regular inspections, fire drills, as well as awareness and response training. It also manages the uOttawa Warden Program that supports the response to campus emergencies.
The Fire Safety Program ensures that uOttawa complies with the Ontario Fire Code and is responsible for compliance verification and fire prevention efforts on the campus.
