Bryce Bogie is a fourth-year MD-PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Medicine. He is currently completing his PhD in Neuroscience in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine. His research focuses on investigating the neural correlates of cognitive impairment in mental health disorders. Before joining the University of Ottawa in 2019, Bryce earned Honours Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees, both from McMaster University.
Bryce has a strong history of representing and advocating for the rights and interests of his fellow students. Notably, Bryce has previously served on the University of Ottawa Senate, the Aesculapian Society of the University of Ottawa, and the Clinician Investigator Trainee Association of Canada. Currently, Bryce is a member of the GSAED ByLaws and Oversight Committees and is the co-Editor in Chief of the University of Ottawa Journal of Medicine. Through these roles, Bryce has honed a strong skillset for building relationships to effect positive change for students at the University of Ottawa and beyond.
