Information Session on Tenure and Promotion

This session has the objective of familiarizing professors with the different conditions and steps in the process to apply for tenure and promotion. It is aimed at professors in the following cases:

  • Professors applying for promotion to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure (art. 25)
  • Professors hired at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor and applying for tenure (art. 25.15 and 25.3.2.2)
  • Language professors applying for tenure (art. 18.3)

It will be presented by Jacques Beauvais (Provost and Vice-President, Academic Affairs), Jules Carrière (Vice-Provost, Faculty Relations) and Kathryn Prince (Associate Vice-Provost, Faculty Relations), who will be delighted to answer your questions on this subject.

Please note that this event will be in English. A French session will take place on March 19, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
