Mya Beaudry

Event description

Join us for an exciting workshop with Mya Beaudry, founder and CEO of Kokom Scrunchies. Mya started her business at just 9 years old, drawing inspiration from her Indigenous roots as a member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation. Kokom Scrunchies, named after the Algonquin word for "grandmother," reflects her heritage and honors the strong women in her life. Participants will get hands-on experience making scrunchies while learning about Indigenous entrepreneurship.
