Abstract
In this talk, Sílvia Melo-Pfeifer will focus on the intersection of language teacher education, multilingualism, and the use of creative, arts-based methods in professional development. More precisely, she will show how exploring creative approaches in language teacher education programs, such as drawing a linguistic autobiography and producing multilingual poetry, can foster teachers’ abilities to envision their future students, pedagogical contexts and teaching methods.
