Workshop: Supporting Student Mental Health

Participants will learn to recognize signs of distress, effectively respond to students in need, and refer them to appropriate resources. We'll explore the stigma surrounding mental health, emphasizing accessibility and inclusivity in our approach. Gain practical tools, and discover strategies, including Universal Design for Learning (UDL), to better support our diverse student population. Together, we can create a more understanding and responsive environment for all students.

In order to take this workshop, participants need to have previously completed the More Feet On The Ground online learning module (should take about 20 to 25 minutes to complete).

Please note that this workshop will be bilingual (English and French).

Capacity: 22 participants.
