Join us on campus for a day of family fun with science, technology, engineering, arts and math during Homecoming! The Alumni Engagement Team is pleased to join the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Science and the Office of Sustainability to bring you the STEAM Fair 2024.
Explore a variety of activities while learning about science, music, robots, coding, sustainability, digital cultures and more. Join us on campus for this drop-in event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the STEM Complex, 150 Louis-Pasteur Private!
Drop-in for fun activities:
- Visit various kiosks and take part in fun activities.
- Witness 3D printers in action at Richard L'Abbé Makerspace and see some race cars built by uOttawa engineering teams.
- Create some crafts using upcycled materials with the uOttawa Office of Sustainability and explore what’s available at the Free Store.
Register on site:
- Zumba dance sessions: Sign in for an energetic 30 minutes of dance at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Register to tour the uOttawa-IBM Cyber Range, a realistic and immersive environment to learn about cyber-attacks.
First come first serve:
At 3 p.m., in the Marion Hall auditorium (MRN 150), experience thrilling chemical reactions presented in a fun, entertaining way for all ages during the "Magic of Chemistry Show". Doors open at 2:45 p.m and the show has a 60 minute running time.
There’s something for everyone at this event! Bring your family and friends to enjoy a day filled with learning, creativity and fun.
