Join us for the annual Wàskonenindamàwin: A lighted journey, a festival hosted by the Gee-Gees in collaboration with the uOttawa Indigenous Resource Centre.

On September 24, the Gee-Gees women’s soccer, women’s rugby and men’s rugby games at Matt Anthony Field will take place alongside Indigenous performers, including traditional drum groups, throat singers, hoop dancers and a live DJ, as well as an Indigenous vendors’ market.
We invite you to engage with the beauty of Indigenous culture and bear witness to some impressive sporting and artistic performances right here on campus.
