Creating an accessible workplace where you can thrive is of the utmost importance for us. This 24/7 voluntary service can help you, your spouse and/or dependent child find solutions to challenges related to work, health or life in general in all confidentiality.

Gee-Gees Rec is made up of five sectors: Aquatics, Camps, Client Services, Fitness and Rec, and Intramurals. There are many opportunities to take part in sports and recreation at uOttawa! No matter your interest, there’s something for you!

Note that employees have free basic access to the Montpetit Hall sports facilities. Immediate family members also have access under the same conditions if accompanied by an employee.

The University of Ottawa offers free Physical Activity Counselling to all students, professors and staff who aren’t as physically active as they could be and/or want to increase their enjoyment of physical activity.

The library is the intellectual hub of the campus. With several locations, over 5.9 million individual titles and free access to peer-reviewed journals, our library helps you feed your curiosity and continually feed your intellect.

The library also provides you with access to PressReader, featuring recent issues (within 90 days of publication) of 4,000 major international newspapers and magazines in their original full-colour, full-page format. Download 50 newspapers or magazines per day to your mobile device (on campus only) using the free PressReader app. If working off-campus, search the PressReader catalogue.
