Amanda Doku
Amanda has had a knack for math since early childhood. Aside from maintaining academic excellence in high school, she was a team leader in a youth choir that was awarded a bronze medal for their overall performance, against some 300 choirs from 40 countries from around the world. She also made a big impact on her school as the vice-president of The STEM Council, that oversees all STEM-related clubs within her school.
When asked about what the future hold for her, she explains: “I see myself building a Biomedical Engineering start-up company, where I can take my ideas and innovations and develop them to be used on a global scale. This would ideally focus on the use of AI in medicine to improve diagnosis, treatment, and to find links between countless research papers.”
“I see myself having launched a biotechnology company that develops innovative bio-based devices, like EV bio-batteries as promising solutions to the recyclability issue with millions of EV to retire...”
