What is your job title?
Archivist, Information and Archives Management.
How do you see your role going forward?
I am looking forward to supporting the university community in understanding how we should use, share, and safeguard our business information assets so that we can preserve them for research today, as well as in the future.
Where did you complete your studies?
I completed my undergraduate degree in History at Carleton University, and my Masters in Library and Information Studies at McGill University.
What is your hidden passion?
Cooking. I love reading cookbooks and watching food shows. I am always on the lookout for new foods to try.
What is your guilty indulgence?
Maple syrup. I have a huge sweet tooth and love anything maple.
What is your unknown / hidden talent?
It turns out I’m not too bad at giving pandemic lockdown haircuts!
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
Gardening/landscaping. I love beautiful, well-kept gardens but I definitely do not have a green thumb.
What are you learning now, and why is it important?
I have recently started canine agility classes with my dog. I think it’s important to always be trying new things and staying active any way we can.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Honest, diligent, and a good listener.
