Enhancing technology security

University servers contain a lot of confidential and restricted data. Securing them and providing auditing and control access are of utmost priority. Privileged accesses are restricted by isolating the use of privileged accounts to reduce the risk incurred if those credentials are stolen. Another benefit is that it will set a separate environment that will reduce the risk of malicious attacks. The risk of successful exploitation of security vulnerabilities will also be greatly reduced. By making it more difficult for cyber criminals to penetrate this special environment, it hardens our security walls against hackers and augments our IT security.
