M365 for Retirees and Professors emeriti
Retired employees retain indefinite access to:
- uOttawa.ca email with up to 50 GB of storage
- Calendar services
- Access to email from anywhere using Outlook on the Web.
Before you retire: For continued email functionality, ensure you’re using less than 50 GB of your email storage. You will lose free access to OneDrive, backup your OneDrive data to avoid losing your files/folders.
Microsoft 365 applications
To continue using Microsoft 365 applications like Word, Excel, OneDrive and PowerPoint, you can purchase a Microsoft subscription at a special retiree discount through the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program. To receive the discount, use your @uOttawa.ca email address to confirm your uOttawa status. To access the applications, use a personal (non @uOttawa.ca) email address.
