Purpose
  • Within two hours of your workday (as set up in Outlook), you'll get an email about any relevant items to help you better prepare for the day ahead.

Eligibility

  • A1 license: Available for Faculty clinicians, long-term disability academic or support staff, and casual paid/hourly/unpaid positions, Adjunct Professors and Emeritus Professors.

  • A5 license for Faculty: Available for Professors, research associates (except postdoctoral fellows), librarians, power plant and trades personnel in the following groups: SSUO, PIPSC, management positions (NM) and confidential positions (NC).

  • A5 licence for student: Available for full-time and part-time students, student workers (CUPE, TA/RA, WSP, Scholarships) and for post-docs.

Fees 

Briefing Email is part of M365 service and provided at no cost to eligible users.

Features

  • Prepare for meetings by showing related tasks or relevant documents.
  • Manage tasks identified from email that might be pending.
  • Make the most of focus time by booking time on the calendar and muting notifications.
  • Briefing emails are personal and private and are only sent to you directly in your mailbox, which cannot be accessed by anybody else in the organization.
  • Briefing emails do not include any new personally identifiable information about anybody else in your organization. The insights and actions are based on information generated by you and your organization just by going about your regular workday.
  • Your Briefing emails are based on information that you already have access to but can’t quickly aggregate without help.
