Apps integration
  • SharePoint(when documents are uploaded to the Files tab in a Teams channel, they are stored in a SharePoint site for that specific Teams - each channel in a Teams linked to a folder in a document library of the connected SharePoint site).
  • One Drive (when a user initiates a chat in Teams, any files shared by that user within the chat are stored in their One Drive under MS Teams chat files).
  • Other apps: OneNote, Planner, Stream, Bookings Shifts, Lists.
Supported browser
  • Latest version of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Chrome.
  • Teams is not supported in Safari.
Limitations
  • Teams: less than 5,000 members in a Teams.
  • Number of channels per team: 200.
  • Private channels: each team can have a maximum of 30 private channels and each private channel can have a maximum of 250 members.
  • Chats in individual and group chats are automatically removed after 150 days.
  • SharePoint sites and files are removed after 180 days of inactivity (with automated notification prior to deletion)
Desktop client
  • Windows users must have Office 2013 or 2016 for Windows 7 and 10.
  • Mac users must have Office 2016 for Mac.
Teams appTo download the Teams app, go to M365 portal.
Get it!Send us a request through our Self Service portal. Teams requests are approved by the Information Management Team prior to creation.

FeesTeams is part of MS 365 service and provided at no cost to eligible users.
