With the creation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the European Research Area (ERA), the European Union has made substantial investments in higher education and research. Furthermore, the University of Ottawa will benefit from Canada’s associate membership in Horizon Europe in 2024. Differential Tuition Fee Exemption Scholarship – In keeping with our commitment to the French-speaking world, the University of Ottawa offers a Differential Tuition Fee Exemption Scholarship to international Francophone and Francophile students enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program given in French, or in the French Immersion Stream. This major assistance in funding their studies reduces their tuition fees considerably.

International Doctoral Scholarship – This scholarship is intended for international doctoral students. An important contribution to the financing of their studies.
