We are in a difficult period, one that challenges many us to find inner balance. Mindfulness meditation is one method that can help us face such an unprecedented situation as the Covid-19 pandemic with equanimity and stability. Mindfulness meditation can help us cope with the fear, anxiety and stress that arise from these unprecedented events. Two professors at the University of Ottawa, including André Vellino, have decided to offer free online meditation sessions to introduce people to practices that aim to develop stability, provide relief from anxiety and cultivate compassion for self and others.
