Daniel Stockemer was recently named the Konrad Adenauer Research Chair in Empirical Democracy Studies at uOttawa’s Faculty of Social Sciences, a partnership between the University and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) to promote social science research. In his role, Professor Stockemer will examine some of the key challenges faced by representative democracies, including the effects of migration on political attitudes and the populist tide that has swept the world.
