Problems ahead: Canada task force does not recommend breast cancer screenings at 40

Canada's national breast screening guidelines says people in their 40s shouldn't be routinely screened for the disease despite U.S. recently saying mammograms should start at 40 and not 50. Recent uOttawa studies have found breast cancer rates in younger women are rising while screening before the age of 50  lowers proportions of advanced breast cancer and saves the healthcare system major money.
