Queer Diplomacy
WHEN: Wednesday, November 1, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
LOCATION: FSS 4004, 120 University Private, University of Ottawa
Join us for a panel discussion with participants from Canada’s and Germany’s foreign services and from LGBTQI+ rights organizations based in Canada and Belize to discuss their experience of directly or indirectly engaging in “queer diplomacy” and to reflect on its successes, its challenges and its future. Artistic Voices of Iranian Women in Canada: Simin Keramati, Mahsa Alikhani, and Jinoos Taghizadegh
WHEN: Wednesday, November 1, from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
LOCATION : 100 Laurier (LRR), room 114
The Department of Visual Arts at the University of Ottawa welcomes Simin Keramati, Mahsa Alikhani, and Jinoos Taghizadegh, three Toronto-based artists who work in contemporary mediums such as video, photography, life-writing, performance, drawing, and multi-media. (English & Farsi)
