The 2019 Startup Garage cohort is here!
Startup Garage is a 4-month pre-accelerator program to foster and support entrepreneurship. By providing student startups with funds, space, mentorship and training, Startup Garage has been supporting in the growth of some of Ottawa’s most innovative startups since 2009.
Now in its 10th year, Startup Garage is excited to announce that 8 student and recent-alum companies will form the 2019 Cohort!
EcoVision: EcoVision is a social enterprise that sells affordable eyewear made out of recycled plastic to individuals in need.
HireFast: HireFast is a platform that helps companies to save time when recruiting software developers.
MyPitboard!: MyPitboard! is a newly developed racing performance and training application designed and built to enhance training of motorcycle athletes. Mypitboard! is pushing advanced professional race developed technology into the hands of consumers at a cost effective price.
Nitelife: Nitelife is a software startup designed to make going out simple, whether you are partying or managing.
OverSee: Oversee simplifies the deployment of sensors to make buildings and factories smarter. By visualizing data on a platform for users of all backgrounds, everyone can monitor their physical and mechanical assets.
Point3D Commercial Imaging: Point3D captures reality in 3D to create rich digital experiences. These experiences are immersive, interactive and accurate to 1% of reality – empowering audiences to seamlessly navigate a space as if they were actually there.
SitterNextDoor: SitterNextDoor is an online platform which connects vetted parents and babysitters who are from the same neighbourhood.
Smallworld LIVE: Smallworld LIVE is a concert promotion company seeking to elevate Ottawa's live-entertainment event experiences.
