The pandemic has not slowed down the creativity and inspiration of students at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Engineering, who have worked closely with external partners of the Faculty to develop real client solutions. They will present their engineering design projects and celebrate their achievements as part of the ninth edition of Design Day on April 8th.
Design Day brings together industry professionals, families, friends, faculty members and students. The virtual event is free and open to the public.
Over 120 projects will be featured, including:
- Waste management
- COVID Autonomous services
- Modular heated sidewalks
- Trajectory angle
- Key tracking
- Accessibility
- And much more…
Design projects can be physical prototypes, design plans, apps or websites. They can come out of a class, research, or a personal project from either an individual student or a team. Prizes will be awarded per category.
