"The Times They Are a-Changin'" sang Bob Dylan and when a pandemic upends your life and brings its share of social distancing guidelines and restrictions to protect everyone’s safety, one must learn to adapt. And so, we did! Our students and faculty completed their semester online and now the University of Ottawa will host its first ever virtual Convocation to honor our students and celebrate their hard-earned accomplishments.
While Convocation ceremonies are imbued with time old traditions, pomp and circumstance, this Convocation 2.0 version, while still honouring traditions, will bring out uOttawa’s bolder side. The spring 2020 graduating class – all 7451 of them - will celebrate the culmination of their studies surrounded by faculty, family and friends in a virtual fashion. Students will also be able to customize their #uOgrad and #GGnation experience with branded filters, photos, and stickers.
Join us from Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19, 2020 for a week-long virtual celebration as the University of Ottawa honours its Spring graduating class.
