A discussion of Canada's aging workforce and its implications
To what extent and how do beliefs around aging impact work engagement and retention? In turn, how does knowledge-sharing and mentoring between young and older workers shape age-based attitudes? Findings have highlighted the importance of developing workplaces that engage and benefit workers of all ages and counter ageism.
These issues will be at the center of discussions on November 26 when the Institute for Science, Society and Policy (ISSP) hosts Professor Martine Lagacé to discuss the aging of the Canadian workforce and its important implications for human resources practices, particularly with respect to the hiring and retention of young and older workers.
