The University of Ottawa is pleased to announce that planning has started for a revitalized campus experience for the Fall 2021 term.

The University has an ambitious plan to provide a full, enriching on-campus experience with an increase in in-person and hybrid learning formats. Currently, most courses are being offered online due to current health measures.

“The future remains uncertain, yet we will do our best to maximize in-person activities even as we ensure that everyone’s health and safety remains the University’s top priority”, said uOttawa Provost and Vice-President, Academic Affairs Jill Scott in a message to the community.

While details are still being worked out, planning is actively underway across all sectors of the University.

Students will be offered increased residence options and greater access to many on-campus co-curricular, community and wellness activities. Classrooms will be equipped with updated educational technologies to support hybrid teaching models, and every effort will be made to accommodate students who do not or cannot attend in person to continue their programs at distance.
