It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the death of a member of our uOttawa community. Yesterday, Ottawa Police Services confirmed the death of an undergraduate student in an apartment off campus.
On behalf of the uOttawa community, I wish to express our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and other members of our community who knew the student.
The identity of the student will not be disclosed out of respect for the family’s privacy. With this in mind, we ask that you be caring, discreet and respectful of the student’s family and friends in your use of social media as it relates to this incident.
