The University of Ottawa is pleased to announce that two deserving uOttawa students have been awarded a chance to study worry-free with a four-year Schulich Leader Scholarship, valued at $80,000 and $100,000 respectively.

This year’s recipients are:

  • Roslin Chen - Environmental Science (Faculty of Science)
  • Angelica Paynter - Software Engineering (Faculty of Engineering)

The Schulich Leader Scholarships annual program recognizes students across Canada who demonstrate excellence in academics and/or community leadership and who plan to study science, technology, engineering or mathematics as undergraduates.

Recipients are selected from a pool of nominees based on three criteria: outstanding community and business leadership, academic excellence and financial need. High schools and CEGEPs across Canada can nominate students for the scholarship.
