What was your last career change?
My last career change was a huge one where I transitioned from working as a pharmacist in a hospital to working in the IT department of the same hospital as a Business Analyst.
What made it successful?
Upskilling and doing a lot of job shadowing and when an opportunity presented itself, I took my chances.
What was the biggest challenge in adapting to your new role?
Learning and adapting to the organization’s culture and processes.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career change?
Keep your eyes on the ball and never lose focus and if it scares you, do it! You never know!
How can colleagues help someone transition into their new responsibilities?
By providing support and useful information on how they can sharpen their skills.
What do you look forward to in your day?
Having dinner with my family and sharing details about how each of our day went.

Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bar! It takes you right into paradise.
What ingredient should never be found on a pizza?
Mushrooms.
What three items would you bring if you were shipped to a deserted island?
A bottle of sunscreen, a hammock, and a box of matches.
