Make better business decisions with the new uOttawa Datahub

Datahub word, with illustration of data sharing.
Have you ever wanted a way to combine multiple sources of data into a single report to help answer business questions?

What about having an interactive report that can drill down deeper into your data or using filters to narrow in on a specific anomaly? The uOttawa Datahub was created to gather data and perform analytics to make informed business decision.

What is the uOttawa Datahub?

The uOttawa Datahub enhances access to trusted and curated data from a vast array of sources into a single, online platform. Data consumers have access to a central data catalogue. Data can be combined in reports or dashboards to make sense of complex business questions regardless of the source. Additionally, data can be used to develop custom analyses or feed machine learning engines for more complex problems.

In the future, users will be able to request access to any data required through an automated process. The requests will follow a security workflow and be routed to the appropriate data steward(s) for approval. The datahub will continue to grow as new data elements or data sources required for custom dashboards and custom analyses are added on a prioritized basis via the uOttawa Datahub development and support team.

What data is available in the datahub?

The uOttawa Datahub is already connected to many data sources and continues to grow with every new project. A data catalogue lists available data elements and all the attributes associated with them, including data steward, quality of data, source system and other important information to support great decision-making.

Get involved!

Whether you have your own development team or your own report writers, or you need a full-service delivered, the datahub can help with your project.
