A crucial new step in optimizing uOttawa printing services has just been taken.

The University has finalized a service contract with Compugen who will be responsible for managing and supporting our campus printing services. New HP printers offering modern and mobile solutions will soon be available to the University community, replacing the current fleet of ageing and obsolete printers.

Compugen is a company known for its reliability and dedication to customer care. They have been recognized as a Platinum Supplier Partner by OECM (Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace), highlighting their exceptional service and commitment to innovation in the education sector. Many universities in Canada, like the universities of Toronto and McGill, rely on Compugen for their IT solutions. 

The University is committed to reducing costs and improving the quality and stability of printing services by focusing efforts on high-activity areas, thus providing a sustainable and efficient printing service for the entire university community.

The key activities of optimizing our printing services have already begun and will be completed by summer of 2025. Stay tuned!
