Shoppers Drug Mart has officially opened the doors to its first Pharmacy Care Clinic on a university campus. Located within the University of Ottawa’s main campus, this new location expands student access to trusted healthcare practitioners as well as offers hands-on learning opportunities for those enrolled in the university’s health sciences and pharmacy programs.

The Pharmacy Care Clinic is located at 801 King Edward Avenue at the Minto Sports Complex, adjacent to the Student Health and Wellness Centre to complement the Centre’s One Door service delivery model which aims to improve students' access to wellness services. With the opening of this new location, students can now receive pharmacy services, medical care and trusted advice in one location on the University of Ottawa’s campus.

Pharmacy services – which include the assessment and treatment of common minor ailments such as urinary tract infections and pink eye - are available both through appointment or by walk-in. Patients and students can call the store to make an appointment or book online through the PC Health App.
