For 25 years now, OLBI has partnered with WEFLA, the International Congress on Foreign Languages, Communication and Culture, which takes place in April every year at the University of Holguín in Cuba. This partnership was sealed with the signing of a formal agreement between the University of Ottawa and the University of Holguín in 2018.
Through this initiative, OLBI is proud to contribute to the development of scholarly cooperation between Canada and Cuba. Monika Jezak, Vice-Dean, Student Affairs, at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Arts will be on hand to represent OLBI at the Congress in 2023.
To take part in the Congress, scheduled in a hybrid format from April 26 to 28, submit a draft paper for WEFLA.
