Affiliated with OLBI’s Canadian Centre for Studies and Research on Bilingualism and Language Planning (CCERBAL), the Language Management Interdisciplinary Research Group (GRIGL) is a platform for exchanges on language policy and planning. It’s a space for reflection on issues, theories and practices in the midst of political and research agendas. GRIGL’s goal is to increase the visibility of research at the University of Ottawa by creating synergy in the communication of the research of its members through seminars and publications. The group provides as well networking and learning opportunities to new researchers as well as undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students interested in the field.

Pole International Langues et Action Publique (PILAP)

The goal of the PILAP project, financed ed by the PRISA program of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie, is the establishment of an international platform in sociolinguistics and language policy oriented towards research, training, and public action. This project promotes sustained and lasting exchanges, face-to-face and virtual, between researchers and students from the three partner universities, as well as representatives of the public sector and associations in Argentina, Canada and France.
