3. UHIP Health Insurance coverage is mandatory for all students. UHIP premiums are calculated based on when you begin your program. Coverage typically runs from September 1^st to August 31^st. For more information in the UHIP health insurance, please consult the UHIP webpage.
4. This health benefit and dental insurance plan is mandatory for all conditional offer students who start in the fall terms. It is optional for conditional offer students who start in the winter terms. Please follow this link for more information.

5. Due to the validity of the U-Pass in the Fall (September 1 – April 30), eligible full-time students are charged the full amount in the Fall term.

   This means that even if you are only registered for full-time courses in the Fall term, you will still be charged the full amount. If you aren’t full-time during the Winter term, you must submit an opt-out form before the deadline in order to obtain your Winter fee adjustment.

CMN 1148: Introduction to Organizational Communication (three credits)

• Study of the basic concepts in interpersonal and organizational communication. Processes and communication networks one-one one, and in small groups and organizations.
