Professor Beverly Baker, who teaches and leads language assessment at OLBI, has been appointed the first Chairholder of the new Research Chair in Language Assessment Literacy.
Beverly is a founding member of the Canadian Association of Language Assessment (CALA) and is currently Treasurer of the International Language Testing Association. In 2019 she won the British Council’s International Assessment Award. Over her career, she has given workshops to over 1,000 educators on language assessment topics.
