“They are kind, enthusiastic and eager to learn,” says Katarina David, senior coordinator at the Centre for Language Learning. While enrolled in Learning English for Academic Purposes (LEAP), UNP students chose to take a LEAP forward in their language learning.
Accompanied by uOttawa alumna Melodie Cook, 20 Japanese students from the UNP visited uOttawa from February 21 to March 24. While completing the ESL0150 course for credit, they immersed themselves in the English language: a sugar shack and snow tubing were just some of the Canadian activities the students enjoyed during their stay!
