Cassie Campbell is the longest-serving captain of a Canadian national hockey team. As captain, she led her teammates to 21 medal wins, and she is widely credited with helping to grow the sport of women’s hockey in Canada. She continues to break barriers, advocate on behalf of sport and devote herself to a variety of community-building activities, inspiring perseverance and dedication to excellence in others.
