Selection Criteria

As part of the recruitment process to select the University’s next president and vice-chancellor, the Selection Committee invited members of the University community to submit comments and suggestions on the selection criteria.

Consultations on the main selection criteria to use in choosing the next president and vice-chancellor have now ended.  

In keeping with the procedure for selecting the next president of the University of Ottawa, the Selection Committee has taken into account comments from the University community in defining its selection criteria. These criteria were submitted to the Board of Governors for approval at a meeting on January 28, 2025.
