We provide services to students, faculty members and support staff who may be directly or indirectly affected by sexual harassment and sexual violence, or any other form of gender-based violence.
We also serve individuals who have questions about their own conduct.

Support
- Short-term listening and support, in line with a survivor-centric approach
- Assistance in implementing safety plans
- Assistance in submitting requests for academic and workplace accommodations
- Information for University community members to whom a survivor has disclosed an incident
Advice
- Referrals to appropriate services on and off campus
- Provision of information on the limits of confidentiality
- Provision of information on options in terms of filing a complaint, in accordance with Policy 67b – Prevention of Sexual Violence, and other options on and off campus
- Liaison with the Ottawa Police Service, if desired
- Investigation after a complaint has been filed, if desired
- Listening and advice for anyone who has questions about a behaviour or situation related to any form of sexual harassment or violence
Prevention
- Creation and delivery of training courses on consent, bystander intervention and prevention of sexual violence
- On- and off-campus awareness-raising activities (organization and participation)
