The Faculty of Arts offers programs that provide students both with a solid general education in a setting known for its vibrancy and with the opportunity to take a range of courses, be they in arts-specific fields (fine arts, humanities, languages and literatures), in other faculties, or in a specific subject.

Many subject combinations are available: foreign languages, art history, music, theatre, communication, history, geography, religious studies, and linguistics, as well as politics, recreation, economics, mathematics, biology, psychology, administration and science.

The general BA program is geared to students looking for a broad education. It allows them to explore several disciplines on the way to concentrating on a more specific field later on.
