Lettres françaises et Éducation

The integrated programs in Lettres françaises et éducation meet the needs of future teachers by closely combining their disciplinary studies with their teacher training. Right away in first year, students learn to consider education issues while gaining a solid grounding in their teaching subject. The first in-school practicum takes place in third year; it helps students better understand the nature of their chosen profession and gives them an opportunity to forge meaningful links between the theories they learn on campus and the practical experience they gain in the classroom.

The programs provided by the Department of Français form part of this integrated baccalaureate, except the French programs.
