Sociology

This program encourages you to take a critical look at society and equips you with the
skills and resources to do so in an informed way. Starting with such broad themes as
culture, identity, power and globalization, the curriculum explores various aspects of
society such as ethnic relations, the experiences of minority groups, the role of women, international development and political sociology.

In sociology courses, research and readings, students focus on:
