History and Theory of Art

These programs give you a solid grounding in the history of art and an awareness of current critical discussions and debates in the field. Courses focus on twentieth-century and contemporary international art history, practice and theory. We use an interdisciplinary approach in these programs, making sure to examine topics and themes from different theoretical points of view or perspectives (historical, post-colonial, feminist, etc.).
