Faculty of Science
ADMINISTRATION OF THE FACULTY
A council governs the Faculty. Membership includes professors and
students from each department, and the dean as chairman. The
dean is the chief executive of the Faculty, which also has a vicedean,
an assistant dean and an administrator of undergraduate
programs.
At the departmental level the structure is similar. Each department
has its council, composed of professors and elected student
members; the chair of the council is the chair of the department.
To get involved in the various committees and participate in the
development of the Faculty, contact the Science Student
Association or Mrs. Christine Legault-Lefebvre at the deans office.
