Notes |
1. Courses labelled G cannot be counted as music courses towards a music degree (BA concentration or honours) and they cannot be counted towards the requirements of the BMus. 2. An asterisk (*) indicates a course which counts towards a music degree but has no prerequisite; it is open to all students. 3. Students wishing to be accepted in the BMus program must satisfy the additional requirements for admission described at the beginning of the present calendar. 4. All applied music courses are reserved for students enrolled in the BMus program. 5. Qualified persons enrolled in programs other than BMus are permitted to register, for credit, to ensembles, provided they pass an audition and obtain the permission of the Department. Students who transfer from the BMus to the BA program may use previous credits earned in the ensemble courses as electives. 6. A student failing an applied music course (MUS 1030, 1032, 2030, 2032, 3030, 3032) will be asked by the department to withdraw from the baccalaureate of music program.
