The learner selects areas of practice based on individual learning goals. Emphasis is placed on integration and synthesis of previous knowledge and skills, and on applying theory and research to practice. Clinical settings include laboratory, community and hospital ambulatory-care and in-patient areas. There are opportunities for small-group reflections on the issues generated in practice. |
